The 1971 O-Pee-Chee Baseball Card Set consists of 752 cards. The cards say Printed in Canada on the back. The backs of the 1971 OPC baseball cards are yellow with the player information. In both French and English until card #523. 524 to 752 were printed in English only. The 1971 OPC set swapped out cards #202 and #289 and added players from the Montreal Expos. The 1971 O-Pee-Chee high number series begins with card # 644 and also contains the same hard-to-find Short Prints.

Due to the poor quality of the paper stock used to make the OPC cards, as well as the many rough-cut edges, the grading standards on the 1971 OPC baseball cards is much more liberal on these two issues than they are on the Topps cards. COMPLETE SET INCLUDING ALL HIGH NUMBERS. HIGH GRADES: EXCELLENT TO NEAR MINT. Although this set is notorious for being difficult to find in high grade and complete we have it here for the first time to market. This set was completed in 1971 and has been locked away ever since to never see the light of day until now!

It was carefully assembled by an avid collector and never in the hands of children or teenagers. None of the cards have any alterations such as trimming or color touch. There are no junk cards in the set. All the checklist cards are high grade and not marked.

No staining or gummy residue on any of the cards. Avid baseball collectors know how difficult it is to complete this set due to short prints and high number cards.
