The 1968 Topps Football set consists of 219 cards, each measuring 2?? The set was issued in two series and was the first Topps' set since 1961 to feature AFL and NFL players. Card fronts feature a color player photo atop a solid background, with the respective team logo in the upper corner and the athlete's name, team affiliation, and position housed within an elongated circle at the bottom of the card. Cards for players from the previous year's Super Bowl teams were printed in a horizontal design to set them apart from the rest of the cards in the set. This set was also the first to include the Cincinnati Bengals.
